The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy is seeking to find and reward both honorable people and contributing companies with outstanding achievements such as strengthening national competitiveness through technological development while working faithfully and creatively in the capital goods industry
Objective
- Continuous interest and support from the government's capital goods industry
- Motivation and morale boost for technological development of capital goods industry workers and companies
- Pushing forward the localization of capital goods and improvement of external competitiveness through quality improvement
Details of Propulsion
The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy and the Korea Machinery Industry Promotion Association have been rewarding since 1984 for enhancing manufacturing competitiveness through the localization of capital goods and for raising the morale of machine industry workers who are working hard for the development of the national industry.
Award a prize for excellent domestic machine development company (‘84~’88)
- Enforcement reward by separately for machinery technology development and promotion of localization, improvement of competitiveness of consumer products through improvement of quality level and for improvement of international balance
Offering rewards for Excellent Korean Machine Top Award (‘89~’91)
- Change the title of awards : gold, silver, bronze, and award for excellent machine
Awarded the honor of localization of machinery, parts and materials (‘92~’94)
- Upgrade awards such as industrial medal, lower level of industrial medal, Presidential commendation, Prime Minister's commendation
- Product-oriented enforcement of development of technology such as high-tech development and parts development, improvement of quality level
Award for developer of excellent capital goods (‘95~)
- As measures to cultivate capital goods industry were implemented by pan-governmental, the name was changed to "Award for the Developer of Excellent Capital Goods" and awarded to all capital goods.
